Latvian Motor Insurers' Bureau (hereinafter – LTAB) statistics show that in the first half of this year, 15172 road traffic accidents (hereinafter referred to as RTAs) were reported to insurers. Of these, 68,10% were recorded with the agreed notification. Of all RTAs recorded with the agreed notification, 11% were filled out electronically. LTAB OCTA in the mobile app.

LTAB developed and implemented the Mobile Unified Notification (hereinafter – MSP) feature in the application LTAB OCTA in 2019. The function allows you to fill out the agreed notification form electronically on any smart device, and thanks to the user authorization options, such an electronically filled out agreed notification is an equivalent document to its printed version.

"LTAB "has invested a lot of work into making the MSP function as convenient and easy to use as possible, and continues to improve it in the future," says LTAB Chairman of the Board Jānis Abāšins, adding that so far the rapid popularity of MSP among drivers has been mainly hindered by the fact that not everyone still uses smartphones, as well as user authorization tools.

LTAB The chairman of the board calls on drivers to use more coordinated notifications, including MSP, when recording traffic conditions: “Using the coordinated notification saves time that would otherwise be spent waiting for the police to arrive, no additional traffic jams are created, and it should be noted that for accidents for which the coordinated notification is used to record, insurance compensation is paid out faster.”
