LTAB All insurance companies that have the right to provide compulsory third party liability insurance for land vehicle owners in Latvia have merged.
In 1997, the OCTA system was introduced in Latvia, the aim of which is to ensure the protection of the interests of third parties injured in a road traffic accident in Latvia and in the Green Card Member States. To ensure the more successful operation of the system and the implementation of European Commission directives, the Latvian Motor Insurers' Bureau (LTAB), which updates the changes in the legislation on compulsory third-party liability insurance for land vehicle owners in the responsible institutions.
At the same time LTAB is the administrator of the OCTA Guarantee Fund, which, in accordance with the legislation, decides and is responsible for the use of its funds, performs the functions of the Latvian Green Card Office and also the information center, and is a member of the Green Card Offices Council.

LTAB Member of the Board since 2016. Has been working in the insurance field since 1994, while he has been active in the MTPL field since its inception (1997). From 2004 to 2016 he was LTAB Chairman of the Board.
Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering of Riga Technical University, obtained a professional master's degree as a mechanical engineer in the automotive specialty.
